W. Shockley’s Equation and Its Limitation

摘要: 本文讨论了文献[1]所提出的p-n结问题.认为蔡树棠^[1]指出肖克莱(Shockley)方程^[2]不能适用于一般情况的观点可以成立,但不能因此而认为肖克莱对这一问题的处理方法及其结论都是错误的.文中指出了肖克莱方程所描述的仅仅是理想p-n结模型.

Abstract: The problem of P-n junction in Ref.[1] is discussed in this paper. We consider that Tsai Shu-tang's view that W.Shock-ley's equation cannot be applied to all circumstances is correct, but we cannot say, because of this, that W. Shockley's method of treatment and its conclusion for P-n junction are wrong. In this paper we demonstrated that W. Shockley's equation merely describes ideal P-n junction model.
