Abstract

Abstract

This paper is a continuation of [1]. A closed form solution to the second orderelasticity problem, when an isotropic compressible elastic half-space undergoes adeformation owing to a non-uniformly distributed shear load, is presented. The method ofintegral transform is employed to determine the solutions.
